Responsibilities
- Take part in projects from initial commissioning to final delivery of a ship.
- Perform surveys on upcoming midlife upgrades.
- Provide support activities for delivered systems.
- Work in close cooperation with System Engineers and Software Integrators from Saab.
- Collaborate with technical representatives of sub-supplier organizations and shipyards.
- Ensure systems are installed and ships are operational.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary role.
Requirements
- Fluent communication in Finnish and English (verbal and written).
- Collaborative mindset and team player attitude.
- Self-driven with a "get the job done" attitude.
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technical areas.
- Solid technical background with a wide technical knowledge base and interest.
- Formal degree from a technical high school, or equivalent.
- Experience in commissioning and installation of both hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Service and maintenance knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the naval domain and/or defense industry.
- Knowledge of networks and network switches.
- Experience with Linux command line.
- Understanding of functional diagrams.
- Familiarity with serial communication.
