Responsibilities

  • Achieve Market Targets and Objectives for New Retail, New Lease, CPO and Pre-Owned Volvo penetrations, VIP assurance products, and Excess Wear & Use on a Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual basis.
  • Assist in the development of performance targets for Western Region retailers and Market Teams.
  • Lead the Market Managers for the Great Lakes, Midwest, and Plains markets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the market teams.
  • Participate in monthly and annual planning sessions on sales, incentives, and financials.
  • Coordinate with VCFS Management on retailer meetings and deliver messaging to retailers.
  • Provide guidance to Retailer Principal and Retailer Management to achieve Retailer and VCFS combined objectives, developing improvement plans as needed.
  • Manage and prioritize Market Teams activities to align penetration objectives.
  • Monitor and improve Retailer Customer Satisfaction Processes, addressing extreme customer dissatisfaction cases.
  • Act as VCFS point of contact for Volvo Cars USA’s Central Region Management.
  • Manage market implementation of VCFS sales and marketing plans, programs, activities, standards, support, tools, and training.
  • Provide market input on credit and funding standards, procedures, and strategies.
  • Coordinate with JM&A field representatives on retailer meeting and deliver messaging to retailers.
  • Monitor Retailer and Market Team performance against Annual Business Plan and objectives, taking corrective actions.
  • Define Retailer improvement programs based on targets and objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership abilities (coaching, teaching, developing others) – demonstrated success.
  • Results oriented – works towards goals, setting high standards for self and others.
  • Ability to analyze issues and data systematically and utilize this information to develop strategy.
  • Ability to utilize a PC to communicate, analyze data, track trends, and retrieve relevant information.
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office Suite and similar data, communication and presentation software.
  • Ability to communicate, both written and orally, on a professional level.
  • Broad knowledge of Financial Services, Retail Sales, Business Management and Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10-15 years of Business Management experience.
  • Positive attitude, proactive, flexible.
  • Strong listening, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Clear ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize while committed to delivering in time and with the right quality.
  • High integrity.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally and to act in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Position will require extensive domestic travel.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
