Amazon Finance Operations (FinOps) seeks a results-driven Senior Program Manager for its PMO in APAC. This role involves owning complex, cross-functional programs, leveraging AI as a core tool for planning, delivery, and improvement, and making high-judgment decisions to drive large-scale business transformations in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle of complex, cross-functional programs, from strategy definition to sustained delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale business transformations.
  • Leverage AI across the entire delivery lifecycle for planning, coordination, tracking, communication, and delivery.
  • Generate and stress-test program plans, automate status aggregation, and produce launch readiness assessments.
  • Synthesize post-launch operational data into actionable improvements.
  • Engage systematically with stakeholders across FinOps and partner organizations to understand business problems and gather requirements.
  • Understand the systems landscape, including automation limitations, integration dependencies, and scaling factors.
  • Design scalable program mechanisms that create predictable process paths and ensure long-term success.
  • Design measurement frameworks distinguishing output and outcome metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs from initiation to delivery, on time and with quality.
  • Effectively communicate with and influence senior, VP-level stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop others.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 6+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 6+ years of owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Demonstrated, active use of AI tools across the program delivery lifecycle (planning, tracking, communication, risk identification, or launch coordination).
  • Ability to work backwards from the problem and challenge assumptions.
  • High-judgment decision-making, distinguishing reversible from irreversible decisions.
  • Metrics-driven approach distinguishing output from outcome metrics.
  • Ability to distill complex scenarios into clear, compelling narratives and communicate persuasively at all levels.
  • Track record of force multiplication: creating mechanisms, frameworks, and reusable approaches that deliver value beyond a single program.
  • Superior influencing and interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts, build consensus, and drive cross-functional decision making without authority.

Desired Qualifications

  • 6+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience managing programs in finance operations, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, or payroll domains.
  • Experience designing and embedding AI-augmented workflows into program delivery.
  • Track record of creating reusable mechanisms and frameworks adopted beyond a single program.
