Responsibilities
- Develop new and improve existing trading strategies.
- Take positions in intraday and short term power and gas markets.
- Drive growth ambitions by increasing trading activities and exploring new market segments.
- Monitor relevant markets and market developments to identify trading opportunities.
- Share knowledge, experience, and risk-taking ability with colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with market regulations and internal requirements.
- Continuously learn and improve quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Support the 24/7 shift covering market access, position management, and algorithmic trading activities.
Requirements
- Strong academic background with a university degree in mathematics, physics, financial engineering, or other relevant quantitative subject.
- Ideally more than 3 years of trading experience in a comparable role with a strong track record.
- Ability to leverage market knowledge into profitable trading strategies.
- Confidence to take trading decisions under pressure.
- Programming skills (especially Python).
- Knowledge about data management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).

- Preferably knowledge about algorithmic trading.
- German and other language skills are not a requirement.
