We are seeking an SDE 2 for our Global Trade Foundations team to build and launch tech solutions that empower sellers globally. This role involves leading the tech team, developing coherent architecture, and delivering capabilities for worldwide Amazon Stores, utilizing agents, LLM, and real-time recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Build the next flagship product, launching it in 100+ countries worldwide.
- Build systems from ground zero with potential for serving millions of transactions for over 700K sellers across US, EU, JP & Emerging Marketplaces.
- Build tech solutions that empower sellers to expand their cross-border business across WW Stores through a central agentic platform.
- Set the course for large company-wide initiatives.
- Build and launch customer-facing products in international locales.
- Build systems which can scale across multiple marketplaces and are built through Agents, LLM, and Real-time Recommendations in automated large scale Pan EU landscape.
- Lead our tech team, and build coherent architecture and deliver capabilities across WW Amazon Stores.
- Connect frequently with end customers of our products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
