Responsibilities

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, supporting, challenging, and coaching co-workers.
  • Ensure the customer is put first in all store activities, aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Maintain the shop in excellent condition, ensuring it is fully stocked and merchandising basics are in place.
  • Take responsibility for department goals and ensure action plans are clear and communicated.
  • Develop a high level of knowledge about IKEA products and share this with customers and team.
  • Proactively identify and act on commercial opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Act quickly on commercial opportunities related to product availability and customer feedback.
  • Sales steer the department’s top-selling and prioritized products to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Execute actions based on key performance indicator analysis.
  • Promote IKEA's social and environmental commitment and contribute to sustainability.
