Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned sales objectives and contribute to business growth across the power industry.
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities related to new power generation projects, modernization and upgrade initiatives, and service and maintenance solutions for the installed base.
- Develop and execute account strategies for key customers and strategic market segments.
- Lead and coordinate new project pursuits in collaboration with international engineering and construction partners.
- Manage the full commercial cycle, from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, proposal, project management, and execution teams to deliver value‑driven solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with power utilities, independent power producers, engineering and construction partners, consultants, asset owners, and other key stakeholders.
- Leverage market insights and installed base knowledge to generate repeat business and long-term service opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities and technologies.
- Provide market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making and product positioning.
- Support commercial negotiations, ensure alignment with company policies and risk frameworks, and facilitate smooth handover to project execution teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business‑related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the power sector with exposure to technical sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles involving complex solutions.
- Understanding of power generation assets, project lifecycles, and customer decision‑making processes.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into functional and commercial solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% as business needs require.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting large‑scale or enterprise‑level customer engagements within the power or energy industry.
- Familiarity with modernization, digitalization, or service‑based solutions for power generation assets.
- Experience working with international partners or engineering and construction organizations.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and consultative selling skills, including leading customer discussions or workshops.
- Commercial acumen with exposure to proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
