Manage and successfully deliver the Haifa-Nazareth LRT project Track works, fulfilling customer needs and Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP) objectives. This role requires leading cross-functional sub-system stakeholders and activities, making key arbitration decisions, and coordinating with various project teams and external entities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and successfully complete cross-functional activities for the Haifa-Nazareth LRT project Track works, meeting Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP) objectives.
- Manage sub-system level stakeholders, activities, and deliverables, making arbitration decisions on engineering, costs, milestones, and interfaces.
- Coordinate sub-system activities with integration teams, other sub-systems, and project-level functions.
- Apply and adapt project strategy to the Track sub-system scope, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and internal targets.
- Proactively manage risks, opportunities, and deviations impacting project objectives.
- Lead and coordinate all activities for the Track sub-system, from requirements capture to final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Alstom’s standards (EHS, Quality, Railway Safety, Ethics).
- Cascade QCDP objectives to team members and ensure accountability.
- Develop and manage the sub-system work breakdown structure (WBS).
- Monitor scope, schedule, resources, cost, and risks.
- Drive consistent execution across engineering, procurement, supply chain, and RAMS.
- Act as the primary interface for sub-system-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage suppliers and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Provide transparent reporting on sub-system performance and KPIs.
- Support project governance through regular reviews and documentation.
Requirements
- Master degree or bachelor degree.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in railway infrastructure or systems.
- Proven experience in managing complex sub-systems in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMM, Primavera, MS Project).
- Coordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Result oriented.
- Knowledge of Project management processes.
- Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications
- IPMA level D (or equivalent) is desirable.
