Responsibilities
- Support and take ownership of selected areas of the overall MES solution.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of complex MES (Syncade) solutions.
- Contribute to functional design development and create detailed design and test documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process systems, providing timely technical support.
- Configure and manage applications, ensuring compliance with Emerson quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Engineer and team members.
- Deliver emergency call-out services when required.
- Provide customer training and mentorship.
- Adhere to Emerson’s and customer HSEQ standards and Trade Compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Technical background in engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, computer science, or control systems) at a minimum technical college level.
- Knowledge of MES systems, preferably Syncade.
- Experience in process industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, or oil & gas.
- Strong communication skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (preferably DeltaV), process automation instrumentation, networking, and Windows platforms.
- Willingness to work non-office hours and perform call-out services when needed.
- A valid driving license.
Desired Qualifications
- Syncade certification in multiple modules.
- Experience integrating MES with systems such as LIMS or ERP.
- Previous involvement in validated environments and documentation standards.
- Ability to work offshore if required.
