The Reliability & Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overall facility and administration activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks, corrective maintenance, and vendor coordination. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems, electrical, and mechanical components, as well as supporting production in a safe and customer-focused manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks per PPM schedule.
  • Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.
  • Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty/AMC.
  • Monitor energy consumption.
  • Perform DG maintenance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components (photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders).
  • Support production by working in a safe, customer-focused manner.
  • Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and OPS equipment.
  • Conduct regular checks of Fire Alarm & Fire extinguishers.
  • Perform maintenance, oiling, and greasing of carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
  • Attend to regular electrical works.
  • Issue height work and hot work permits.
  • Address minor Civil & Plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
  • Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA.
  • Update tools inventory.
  • Perform PPM schedule maintenance.
  • Oversee soft services activities including Pest control, Housekeeping, and Scrap & Garbage disposal.
  • Handle agency staff and overall shift operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.

Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.
