Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of medium-size projects.
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.
- Lead project team members to achieve project requirements and deliver contracted deliverables.
- Create and drive implementation of project management and after-service strategy.
- Motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish tasks and milestones.
- Coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development.
- Support project tendering and internal sales, including quotation principles and pricing.
- Participate in project risk review and bid/no bid analyses.
- Oversee terms and conditions in offers and frame agreements.
- Ensure project execution follows best practices and ABB policies.
- Report Revenue forecast and take recovery actions for schedule delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
- Monitor and control project progress and resource utilization.
- Identify, qualify, and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned.
- Drive formal acceptance of the project and contract close-out.
- Act as escalation point for claim issues.
- Ensure customer focus and sense of urgency.
- Monitor customer complaints and follow up on their closure.
- Approve service offerings for spare parts and maintenance.
- Optimize maintenance and overhaul projects.
- Drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management or service management, working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Planning, Scheduling, and Organizational skills.
- Strong collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel and engage face to face with customers.
- Ease communicating in English is essential, both written and oral.
