Ericsson is seeking a Project Finance Student Accountant in Mexico City to support project financial data, budgets, billing, and invoicing within SAP. This role is ideal for a student in the final stages of a Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering degree with expected graduation in Dec 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support the set-up and follow-up of project financial data in SAP.
- Help maintain project budgets, billing milestones, and planned costs.
- Participate in customer invoicing and basic revenue recognition activities.
- Contribute to the accurate closure of project objects in SAP.
- Help secure data quality and accounting compliance.
- Work closely with finance colleagues to align project execution and financial performance.
- Support audits with proper documentation of project financials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives (e.g., SAP enhancements, AI tools).
Requirements
- Student in the final stages of a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Expected graduation date Dec 2027
- Fluent English skills.
- Good Excel skills and interest in working with SAP.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Interest in finance, accounting, or project controlling (coursework or basic experience).
- Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn; comfortable suggesting improvements and challenging the status quo.
