Project Coordinator role involves participating in technical and commercial offer preparation, contract reviews, and ensuring project specifications align with company standards. You will be responsible for managing projects post-award, coordinating internal stakeholders, tracking progress, and improving project profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical and commercial offers preparation with Sales Offices and Global Project Pursuit by coordinating specifications review and planning.
  • Participate in alignment calls and contract review calls.
  • Influence project specifications towards Emerson standards to reduce risks.
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand project requirements by reviewing spec review files and listing deviations.
  • Commit to project lead times, including float for risk mitigation.
  • Ensure Emerson commitments are documented in the purchase order.
  • Be responsible for the project once awarded, in agreement with the Sales Office.
  • Act as Flow Control Europe interface for customer satisfaction.
  • Organize progress meetings (Touch Points, KOM, iKOM, PIM, Project Review).
  • Lead project steps, ensuring lead times and milestones are respected.
  • Coordinate various internal European stakeholders.
  • Track and record project progress (goods and documentation).
  • Coordinate any changes during project life.
  • Commit to annual, quarterly, and monthly Sales forecasts.
  • Improve project profitability.
  • Anticipate and identify potential risks and ensure preventive/corrective actions are activated.
  • Record Lessons learned during project life.
  • Record facts and relevant steps for dispute negotiation.
  • Hand over the project to the end destination Sales Office upon completion.

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree preferably in engineering
  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 products (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS-Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Project management skills
  • 3 to 5 years related experience
  • English knowledge is a must

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in International contract management can be an advantage
  • German or other European Languages can be an advantage
  • Transversal management skills (capacity to lead a multicultural team)
  • Negotiation skills and customer relationship skills
  • Control valve product knowledge would be a plus
