We are seeking a Production Worker for our 2nd shift paint line operations. This temporary role involves operating machinery, inspecting products, handling materials, and maintaining a clean work area. A high school diploma or GED, mechanical ability, and knowledge of production processes are required.
Responsibilities
- Supply or hold materials or tools.
- Clean work area and equipment.
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
- Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
- Mark or tag identification on parts.
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill.
- Clean and lubricate equipment.
- Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.
- Perform other assigned tasks at the direction of supervision.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
- Mechanical ability.
- Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Experience with forklifts, hammers, hoists, jacks, ladders, screwdrivers, slings, tape measures, hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws, mechanical machines, and paint systems.
