Responsibilities
- Coordinate, execute and maintain production planning by optimising human and machine resources.
- Prepare rolling production scheduling for manufacturing within the planning tools to meet the finished goods volume forecasts.
- Formulate, analyse and present demand exception reports for use within Sales and Operations planning.
- Adhere to capacity, production and material availability constraints while minimizing customer impacts and last-minute short-term planning changes.
- Drive forecast accuracy and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are in place for consistency in application, training and the maintaining of high standards.
Requirements
- Results oriented professional with a sense of responsibility and ownership.
- High level of structure, energy and autonomy and the ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Strong Interpersonal and Influencing skills.
- High level accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capable of working under pressure in a busy production environment.
- A good knowledge of materials, glass, timber and sheet metal etc.
- Industry knowledge of assembly and machining methods.
- Ability to read and understand workshop drawings.
- Completed a Production Certificate (or equivalent) with demonstrated experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
