Responsibilities

  • Assign and prioritize daily picking tasks based on production schedules and operational needs.
  • Monitor warehouse email, radio traffic, and WMS/ERP queues to identify and reroute time-critical picks.
  • Track open picks, completion status, and accuracy, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Maintain accountability for warehouse tablets, scanners, and handheld devices.
  • Escalate operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and resource constraints.
  • Enforce compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures, including ISO standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing logistics experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP (LEAN) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to interpret KPIs for productivity and accuracy.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certificate preferred.
  • 6–12 months in a lead, key operator, coordinator, or similar working-lead capacity preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
