ABB is seeking an Operations/Supply Planner to generate engineering and production plans, manage material control, and optimize inventory. The role involves interfacing with MRP, coordinating with Procurement, and owning critical material processes. Requires a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Industrial Management or related field and strong SAP expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Generate constrained engineering and production plans, and material plans.
  • Optimize Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory and Sales in Excess (SIE) of invoicing.
  • Interface and streamline MRP, providing material control instructions to Procurement.
  • Coordinate ATP/JIT/PO change management closed-loop process.
  • Develop demand-based material control strategies and coordinate with Procurement.
  • Ensure complete material kitting aligned with production schedules.
  • Control raw material inventory, including virtual accounting and physical warehouse optimization.
  • Own supplier operational master data management and ensure data integrity.
  • Execute forecast process for critical material suppliers.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of long lead-time and critical materials.
  • Support Procurement in completing supplier improvement projects.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Industrial Management, Business Administration, Automation or related field.
  • Strong expertise of planning in SAP.
  • Team player with good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
  • Self-imposed and result-oriented attitude.
  • Solutions-oriented approach and decision-making abilities.
  • Open-minded and enthusiastic for constant improvement and innovation.
  • Fluent written communication skills in English.

Desired Qualifications

  • AI/Agent deployment expertise is a plus.
  • Power BI proficiency is a plus.
  • Coding ability is a plus.
  • Fluent speaking skills in English are a plus.
