Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems.
  • Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Perform installations and ensure safety compliance.
  • Act as the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Document all activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1-3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum).
  • Customer facing experience is ideal.
  • Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes.
  • Self-directed with the ability to understand and resolve problems.
  • Ability to escalate issues through appropriate channels when required.
  • Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand the customer's business.
  • Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
  • Collaborates and supports with team members to deliver company objectives.
  • Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
  • Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
  • Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work (e.g., technical drawings).

  • AS degree preferred (full military equivalent may substitute for AS degree).
