Responsibilities
- Support proactive business development aligned with the division’s strategy across target markets, driving sustainable growth in the Smart Buildings and Electrification business.
- Provide business support, including expertise in market intelligence, strategic planning, customer and segment development, and business expansion initiatives.
- Actively engage with customers, consultants, developers, contractors, and key stakeholders to identify business opportunities, understand market needs, promote ABB solutions, and build strong customer relationships.
- Facilitate activities that drive profitable and sustainable business growth.
- Support the definition and execution of marketing and sales strategies, targets, and performance metrics across the region.
- Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to identify growth opportunities, support strategic planning, and drive business development initiatives.
- Drive profitable business growth by supporting product, application, and segment development initiatives focused on increasing orders, revenues, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, developers, contractors, and channel partners to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Lead and implement cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives while actively engaging customers and key stakeholders through solution presentations, promotional campaigns, industry events, and business development activities.
- Enhance customer experience and loyalty by acting as the voice of the customer, managing customer engagement activities, supporting Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvement initiatives, analyzing customer feedback, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to the Electrification – Smart Buildings (ELSB) business within the assigned region.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Market Intelligence, Consulting, or commercial strategy, with a strong track record of driving growth initiatives and market expansion.
- Strong knowledge of Electrification, Smart Buildings, Building Automation, Energy Management, Data Center Networks, Data Center Infrastructure, or related industries.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies, growth plans, and business cases.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, business analytics tools, market research methodologies, and strategic planning frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic projects in cross-functional and multicultural environments, with strong English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
