Tetra Pak is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join their growing Services Organization in the Netherlands. This role involves extensive travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance, technical support, and ensuring optimal equipment performance, acting as a key ambassador for the company.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to execute duties as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Assist operators during production to help maintain smooth and efficient line performance.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and service activities.
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally while identifying opportunities to improve customer operations and service delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, vocational qualification, or technical diploma with a focus on hands-on mechanical, electrical, or industrial work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics is preferred.
- A growth mindset, indicating a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
- English communication skills (written and verbal) is preferable.
- A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers and colleagues.
Desired Qualifications
- Graduates and individuals starting their technical careers are welcome.
- Spanish and/or Dutch is a plus.
