Alstom is seeking a full-time Logistics Engineer in Trápaga, Spain to manage ERP solutions for logistics operators, optimize warehouse operations, and ensure material availability. This role involves close collaboration with quality and production teams, stock management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the ERP solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators.
  • Define the warehouse layout and optimize storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process).
  • Act as Warehouse Key User to manage stock in the ERP system and train Logistics operators.
  • Ensure the storage of materials, guaranteeing quantities and correct storage conditions.
  • Ensure material availability, integrity & delivery on time to the production line.
  • Manage physical material flows (reception, put away, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to align physical and system flows.
  • Monitor and challenge the performance of each warehouse activity through Key Performance Indicators.
  • Apply inventory processes in compliance with Alstom standard rules.
  • Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement activities & APSYS roadmap and lead the deployment of Alstom programs related to Logistics on site.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of safety including reporting near misses and meetings.
  • Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Technical Engineering or related degree.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish are mandatory.
  • Previous experience in similar positions.
