Emerson is hiring an IT Technician 1 in East Wenatchee, WA, reporting to the IT Manager. This role provides essential technical support for manufacturing operations, including system installation, troubleshooting, and user assistance. Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows 10/11 on desktop and laptop systems.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Deploy operating system images and application packages.
  • Troubleshoot complex desktop, application, printing, networking, and authentication issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Office.
  • Manage Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Group Policy, and user accounts.
  • Monitor endpoint health and proactively resolve recurring issues.
  • Coordinate hardware lifecycle management including procurement, deployment, refreshes, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with server, network, cybersecurity, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Document technical procedures, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain software inventory and ensure licensing compliance.
  • Evaluate and test new hardware, operating systems, and applications before production deployment.
  • Support conference room technology, docking stations, monitors, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Participate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance as required.

Requirements

  • Zero to one year of applicable experience.
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related IT.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • Experience supporting end users.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
