Amazon India is seeking an Investigation Associate to join the Transaction Risk Management Team in Hyderabad. This role involves investigating and eliminating online ecommerce risk, requiring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Investigate and eliminate online ecommerce risk.
  • Make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
  • Communicate with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, other company associates, and third-parties.
  • Contact customers by phone as needed.
  • Ensure productivity and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to compose a grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written response.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex transactional issues correctly and clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically.
  • Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Effectively prioritize work time to ensure productivity and fulfill department standards.
  • Excellent ability to determine situational needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Proven track record of performance and results-oriented thinking.
  • Experience in the ecommerce payments space.
  • Previous trust and safety experience.
  • Experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace.
  • All candidates will be analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Delivered strong performance on key metrics for the past 12 months.
  • 6+ months in the role, worked on one or more operational workflows, queues, or functional domains within the team and/or department.
