Alfa Laval is seeking an ED Partner Sales Intern in Johannesburg to manage and develop sales channels. Responsibilities include identifying new partners, gathering market insights, supporting partner enablement, and maintaining CRM data. An Engineering/Diploma (Mechanical/Chemical) and 1-2 years of experience are required, with an MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scout and identify new partners in target countries following the Way-To-Market (WTM) strategy.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence for the Business Unit (BU), including conducting in-person meetings with customers.
- Facilitate onboarding of new partners and support business activities, acting as the liaison between partners and internal BU teams.
- Develop direct relationships with customers to gain insights into distributor networks.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with partners and customers to develop opportunities and drive business growth.
- Identify and nurture business opportunities within the region.
- Assist in organizing and delivering training sessions or workshops for partners.
- Track and report on partner performance metrics, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support partner-related campaigns, events, or promotional activities.
- Ensure all partner and customer interactions are accurately recorded and updated in the company’s CRM system.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to the business.
Requirements
