In short

We are seeking an International Service Engineer to execute marine-related services, including troubleshooting, installation supervision, and maintenance of WWF Systems. The role requires strong hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marine-related services and tasks assigned from IMS.
  • Sail with ships to conduct troubleshooting or supervise/advise contractors for correct installation of WWF system.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on WWF Systems and other AL equipment.
  • Carry out retrofit or re-commissioning of existing and new systems.
  • Train onboard personnel in relation to WWF.
  • Conduct performance audits or compliance services.
  • Communicate with Ship’s crew, superintendents, class surveyors, and yards.
  • Submit progress reports to IMS colleagues and customers.
  • Timely submission of required paperwork after job completion.
  • Assist other WWF departments upon request.

Requirements

  • Mandatory good hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills.
  • Capable of effective communication with customers.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English (CET-4 or above).
  • Willing to travel frequently.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Marine Engineer, on board or on a yard, or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred knowledge and skills about BU WWF related product, such as ballast water treatment system, high speed separator.
  • Offshore or Marine Engineering education background is preferred.
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for comparable installations.
  • Preferred: Minimum 1 year of Alfalaval related product working experience.
