IKEA is seeking a Part-Time Graphic Design & Communication Associate in Paramus, New Jersey. This role involves executing graphic communication plans, producing and installing store graphics, and collaborating on design projects to support business growth and brand identity. The position offers 12-20 hours per week with a pay range of $23.23 - $32.82 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Executes department graphic communication action plan to grow the business and increase profitability.
  • Produces and installs graphic communications throughout the store in line with the IKEA concept and visual brand identity.
  • Ensures the implementation of graphic communication is cost-efficient, and supports the company's sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborates with leadership to design store-specific printed materials.
  • Remains up to date on graphic communication and retail trends.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of graphic design experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and pre-press production tools.
  • Must have working availability between the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM from Mondays to Fridays.
  • Some weekends shifts are required, depending on the needs of the business, remodels/special projects, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Graphic Design or similar preferred.
