Responsibilities

  • Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods.
  • Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools.
  • Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely.
  • Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
  • Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support business plans.
  • Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands for efficient volume handling and resource planning.
  • Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
  • Work in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious manner, sharing good practices.
  • Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
