Responsibilities
- Drive product optimization through advanced fluid-dynamic and thermal simulations.
- Collaborate with global product development teams to strengthen the design process.
- Define and integrate effective simulation strategies into the development cycle.
- Develop the competence domain by staying up-to-date with state-of-the-art analysis and machine-learning techniques.
- Identify opportunities to enhance models and tools, translating them into development roadmaps.
- Mentor junior colleagues and communicate simulation capabilities and limitations to stakeholders.
- Work hybrid on-site in Wilrijk.
Requirements
- Master of Engineering Science or Master of Science.
- Phd or research experience in the domain.
- Strong experience with fluid dynamics and CFD simulations is a must.
- Experience with machine-learning techniques.
- Experience with programming.
- Experience with flow and/or thermal measurements.
- Passion for technical challenges and a strong interest in research.
- A problem-solving and creative mindset.
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal communication.
- A critical attitude and attention to detail.
