As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, internal cost efficiency, and strategic analysis to support business performance. This role requires 2-3 years of finance and accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. The position is hybrid, based in Prague.
Responsibilities
- Control the business financial cost and assure that financial reporting practices are in line with The Way We Do Things.
- Develop a good internal control environment to protect the company’s assets, investigate any potential for efficiency gains.
- Prepare and present functional costs analysis, defining trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare operational, financial analysis and performance reports, review & analyze them before distribution.
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting, have control over reconciliation and periodical closing of data.
- Support monthly score card package and ad hoc analysis.
- Be deeply involved in preparing the Board pack presentations, future organizational plans setting, internal/external audits.
- Support the BC and Shared Services teams with control, organization and follow-up of the daily operations.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures, reports, and tools.
- Drive production and standardization of various reports, including project spend, travel spend.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of F&A processes and sound accounting knowledge.
- Great people and project management capabilities, with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a sharp analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Familiarity with Atlas Copco’s The Way We Do Things and Code of Conduct.
- Self-driven and independent, with a curious mind, critical thinking, and a deep sense of ownership.
- Motivated to deliver results in international environment.
- Skilled at building and nurturing positive relationships across teams.
- Open to occasional travel as part of a globally connected role.
