This role is for a Financial Analyst Student in Mexico City, focusing on supporting customer projects from a finance perspective. You will gain experience in SAP structuring, order validation, revenue recognition, and project closure within a global tech company, offering a hybrid and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Secure accurate execution of customer business in SAP, in line with Ericsson processes and accounting directives.
  • Set up and maintain project financial structures (FAS) aligned with approved contracts.
  • Maintain revenue and billing milestones, project budgets and planned costs.
  • Perform customer invoicing (incl. credit/debit notes) and revenue recognition based on PoD.
  • Execute project financials and ensure clean closure of project objects in SAP.
  • Act as a financial partner to project stakeholders, providing accurate information and supporting decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity in SAP (incl. S/4HANA), help identify revenue leakage or compliance gaps and support audits.
  • Contribute to process improvements, standardization and digital initiatives (SAP enhancements, AI tools) across the O2C and project finance processes.

Requirements

  • Curiosity, a strong interest in finance and a willingness to learn.
  • Academic or internship experience in Finance, Project Controlling or Accounting.
  • Basic understanding of financial processes and revenue recognition (IFRS 15 is a plus).
  • Experience with SAP (ERP / S/4HANA) or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and financial mindset.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and manage priorities.
  • Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proactive, accountable and results-driven.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and suggesting improvements.
  • Structured thinker who can simplify complex topics.
  • Strong collaborator and relationship builder with high attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications
