BeaconMedaes is seeking a Field Service Technician in St. Louis, MO to perform maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer sites.
- Ensure highest standards of safety, quality, and service.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Complete Job Reports daily, Time Sheets weekly, and Expense Reports at least monthly.
- Return parts replaced under warranty as requested.
- Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company.
- Train and assist other Service Technicians as requested.
- Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as required.
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Maintain the service vehicle per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Properly store and manage inventory levels of accuracy.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing equipment.
- Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a wide variety of compressed air or vacuum equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Must have ASSE 6005 and ASSE 6040 credentials or the ability to obtain ASSE certification within 1 year of employment.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent.
- Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.
- Must be comfortable using a computer.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Customer Focused.
- Good Oral and written communication skills.
- Detail Orientated.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- The ability to travel on short notice may be required.
