Nordea is seeking an Expert IT Analyst with banking and IT experience to join their Capital Management Requirements & Analysis team. This role involves driving IT transformation, re-engineering the IT landscape, and focusing on data analysis, modeling, and architecture within regulatory reporting frameworks like Basel and Corep.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive requirements and analysis work involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements using established frameworks.
  • Ensure requirements traceability throughout the end-to-end development process.
  • Document requirements and provide know-how across the software delivery value stream.
  • Build contextual understanding of business processes and functional/technical solutions.
  • Support product backlog building and prioritization through collaboration with stakeholders and developers.
  • Provide technical counseling on end-to-end data architecture.
  • Proactively share IT knowledge across units and borders.
  • Show interest in and ideally have experience with AI-enabled analytics, automation, and improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in IT projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Solid background in the banking industry.
  • Knowledge within the credit risk domain, specifically regulatory reporting (collaterals, risk exposure amount, reconciliations, guarantees, risk models).
  • Knowledge and experience of reporting frameworks such as COREP, AnaCredit, Pillar III.
  • Good experience in Data analysis using SQL queries.
  • Experience working with Python and/or Power BI.
  • Experience with reporting software such as Controller View.
  • Experience working in Agile Software development, ideally SAFe framework.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience from working in globally distributed teams.
