Qualcomm is looking for an Engineering Technician with at least 2 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, supporting Tesfloor and labs. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining test equipment, and communicating with engineers. A diploma in Engineering is preferred, along with hands-on experience with ATE platforms like Advantest and Teradyne.

Responsibilities

  • Provide line sustaining support in Test floor and Engineering Laboratory.
  • Assist in testing devices/wafers based on instructions from Test Engineers.
  • Maintain equipment by ensuring proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Calibration (Cal).
  • Support test and bench setups, including re-configuring instruments and swapping/replacing boards.
  • Debug test and bench hardware.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering, preferably Electrical/electromechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Test Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure in Test Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment.
  • At least 2 years experience working on different ATE platforms.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and ability to resolve test setup.
  • Hands-on experience on any of the following Test Equipment: Advantest and Teradyne testers, handlers, and probers.
  • Good communication skill required for communicating with Engineers and generating reports.
  • Associate's degree OR High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
  • Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
