The Master Scheduler is responsible for planning manufacturing milestones to ensure on-time product delivery and managing internal production flows. This role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1-3 years of experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on quality and adherence to EHS and trade compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plans all steps of manufacturing milestones to deliver products on time.
  • Manages all internal flows and processes, ensuring date alignment.
  • Provides LT quotations based on factory capacity, materials, and customer specifications.
  • Validates customer request dates feasibility.
  • Performs scheduling activities in line with Delivery Prospectus LT or provided quotations.
  • Plans releases according to production WIP and capacity in connection with assembly supervisor.
  • Launches assembly work orders based on customer request dates, POR targets, urgency, complexity, or inventory levels.
  • Proactively communicates order status to customers, PMs, and Customer Service.
  • Coordinates with the engineering team to resolve BOM issues and manage changes.
  • Liaises with engineering, production, and quality to ensure specifications are met.
  • Monitors capacities of stores, assembly, paint, quality, and packing.
  • Plans and organizes customer inspections at all stages of the order.
  • Handles MRO/Project valves or instruments and coordinates activities for optimal execution.
  • Contributes to improving inventory ITO and other inventory management programs.
  • Drives service levels (RDSL & PDSL) by controlling the plan and lead time.
  • Handles monthly reports including late backlog, RCA, OTD, Inventory Bridges, ITO, and POR phasing.
  • Supports cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensures effective leadership in HSE, promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Discusses Health and Safety at the beginning of every meeting.
  • Manages HSSE risks and impacts, reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.
  • Participates in investigations of accidents, near misses, incidents, and ill health.
  • Completes assigned HSE training.
  • Achieves 100% utilization of the Emerson Safety App.

Requirements

  • A degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering).
  • 1-3 years’ experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Breakthrough thinking with a can-do attitude.
  • Desire to work in an inclusive environment, proactively work across the organization to establish and achieve common goals.
  • Actively assist in any assigned bid activities, to guarantee that the customer specifications are accurately understood, and that innovative and cost-efficient solutions are proposed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility (preferred).
  • Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to pitch the solution for applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Valve components knowledge.
