Work as part of a networking data path team to overcome performance and complexity barriers in wireless access point router solutions. You will be involved in tasks related to networking protocols, data paths, AI/ML traffic management, and device drivers, solving challenges in packet flow and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work on tasks that consistently break performance and complexity barriers.
- Work on networking protocols, unified data paths, AI/ML based smart traffic management, and network device drivers.
- Solve challenges related to packet flow, service delivery, traffic management, and performance.
- Map packet processing to various HW offload/CPU options.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in software feature development using C/C++ programming languages.
- Understanding of Linux Kernel internals.
- Experience with low level kernel programming such as writing/modifying device drivers.
- Good knowledge of basic network protocols such as TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6/ARP/DHCP.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux network stack.
- Experience with ethernet/wirelessLAN device drivers is a plus.
- Knowledge of L2/L3/L4 packet forwarding schemes such as bridge/route/OpenVswitch/DPDK/VPP is a plus.
