Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and evolution of embedded software platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Develop and enhance low-level embedded software components in C, C++, or Rust within Linux-based environments.
- Troubleshoot software issues from early development testing through to field support.
- Perform root-cause analyses and implement preventive actions.
- Apply engineering best practices like code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Participate in architectural design reviews and maintain technical specifications.
- Support recurring release activities to ensure long-term platform reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
- Practical knowledge of embedded software development using C, C++, or Rust.
- Understanding of operating system internals, real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded architectures, and Linux development environments.
- Familiarity with software design principles, object-oriented design, and modeling techniques.
- Entry-level experience is acceptable, including relevant academic or personal projects.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, curiosity, learning agility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
Desired Qualifications
- Scripting skills in Python are considered an asset.
- Several years of hands-on professional experience in embedded software engineering is welcome but not required.
