As an eCommerce Experimentation Manager at Microsoft, you will partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute experimentation plans, analyze customer data, and generate insights to improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes. This hybrid role focuses on scaling a data-driven culture through experimentation, AI-enabled workflows, and customer insight systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner across product, marketing, design, analytics, data science, and business teams to develop and execute experimentation and research plans.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer data to generate insights and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to the adoption and optimization of experimentation, research, and analytics tooling and processes.
  • Develop and improve experimentation standards, best practices, and training materials.
  • Coordinate experimentation programs and optimization efforts across stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the Experimentation & Personalization community through cross-team collaboration and sharing learnings.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in retail, customer service, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in retail, customer service, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or equalivent experience (Preferred).
  • 4+ years’ experience supporting digital user experience development as a product manager, data analyst, UX designer, engineer, or merchandiser OR 4+ years experience working with A/B testing or Feature Flagging tools (Preferred).
  • Proven track-record designing rigorous, online experiments (A/Bn tests) that deliver customer insights and actionable results (Preferred).
  • Demonstrated project management skills coordinating deliverables across several stakeholders (Preferred).
  • 2+ years of eCommerce / behavioral data analysis experience or equivalent functional work (Preferred).
  • Proactive communicator who thrives delivering results through inclusive, cross-group partnerships (Preferred).
  • Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see-through big opportunities (Preferred). Must be self-started, organized and detail oriented (Preferred).

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year.
  • In the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is USD $113,300 - $187,400 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
