Qualcomm is looking for a Design Implementation Synthesis Engineer in Bangalore, India. This role involves planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems and circuits under supervision. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and some experience in circuit design and hardware measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Hardware knowledge to assist in the planning, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other systems.
  • Provide support for the integration of features and functionality into hardware designs.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses of designs, optimizing for power, performance, and area.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement new requirements and test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality.
  • Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products.
  • Evaluate reliability for materials, properties, and techniques, driving innovation and automation.
  • Assess common design features to identify potential flaws, compatibility issues, and compliance issues.
  • Write technical documentation for Hardware projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF).
  • 1+ year of experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software.
  • 1+ year of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.
  • Works under supervision.
  • Requires verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
