Responsibilities
- Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure as part of the Operations team.
- Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
- Act as a primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
- Meet SLAs for assigned trouble tickets and provide first-line touch for hardware troubleshooting.
- Perform on-call duties, including monitoring data center infrastructure during scheduled maintenance and change management.
- Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
- Contribute to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Ability to deal effectively with customers during problem resolution and operate efficiently under pressure.

- Knowledge of policies and procedures, including safety and security, within the department and understanding their appropriate application.
