Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Data Center Managers and Engineers in installing, maintaining, and decommissioning network and server hardware.
- Oversee the safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team, while driving a positive customer experience.
- Manage team and individual performance, deliver performance reviews, and address staffing needs.
- Mentor, train, and develop career progression for direct reports and organizational members.
- Develop and improve operational best practices across the region and globally.
- Design and execute comprehensive strategic initiatives to align with organizational goals and drive operational efficiency.
- Facilitate rapid response protocols and support dynamic problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities, OR 2+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in managing managers and leading large-scale teams, including performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ITIL, SOC) and budget management.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams in a fast-paced technical environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or Master's degree or above.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience operating mission-critical online services.
- Knowledge of technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology.
