As a Data Architect, you will define and drive the company-wide data architecture and strategy, establish scalable governance frameworks, and ensure data is a trusted asset. This hybrid role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement modern data platforms and enforce data governance policies.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and evolve the company-wide data architecture and data strategy.
- Establish and govern a Master Data Management (MDM) framework.
- Design and implement scalable data architecture principles, standards, and target models.
- Drive the development of a modern data platform for seamless data integration.
- Define and enforce data governance policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Support data-driven decision-making by establishing a trusted enterprise data foundation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in Data Management, Governance, and Analytics.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Master Data Management, or Enterprise Architecture.
- Data Architecture and Data Modeling
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data Governance and Data Quality Management
- Data Integration and API-based architectures
- Enterprise Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, and Cloud Technologies
- Experience with complex system landscapes (ERP, CRM, PLM).
- Solid understanding of data protection regulations and information security principles.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.
- Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage.
