As a Data Architect, you will define and drive the company-wide data architecture and strategy, establish scalable governance frameworks, and ensure data is a trusted asset. This hybrid role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement modern data platforms and enforce data governance policies.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and evolve the company-wide data architecture and data strategy.
  • Establish and govern a Master Data Management (MDM) framework.
  • Design and implement scalable data architecture principles, standards, and target models.
  • Drive the development of a modern data platform for seamless data integration.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by establishing a trusted enterprise data foundation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in Data Management, Governance, and Analytics.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Master Data Management, or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Data Architecture and Data Modeling
  • Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Data Governance and Data Quality Management
  • Data Integration and API-based architectures
  • Enterprise Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, and Cloud Technologies
  • Experience with complex system landscapes (ERP, CRM, PLM).
  • Solid understanding of data protection regulations and information security principles.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.
  • Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage.
