ABB is seeking a Cyber Security Application Consultant to lead technical sales for the AUEN Digital Solution's Cyber Security Pillar in Asia. This hybrid role involves identifying sales opportunities, building customer relationships, and bridging the gap between automation and cybersecurity requirements for various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a cybersecurity solutions lead, leveraging expertise in ABB’s portfolio (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, encryption, access management, digital security services).
  • Assess client cybersecurity environments, identify risks and vulnerabilities, and define tailored protection strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing engagement and responsive support.
  • Collaborate with technical, sales, and bid teams to design, demonstrate, propose, and implement customized cybersecurity solutions.
  • Drive the cybersecurity sales pipeline by developing proposals, identifying market opportunities, tracking performance, and maintaining forecasts.
  • Define and execute the digital cybersecurity roadmap, acting as a liaison between global cyber teams, industry stakeholders, and local clients.
  • Ensure cybersecurity solutions for offshore and industrial environments comply with standards like IEC 62443, NIST, and IACS UR E26/E27.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-level organizations with a strong track record of selling innovative software solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through cybersecurity consulting, software solution sales, or related technology services.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (IEC 62443, NIST) and offshore/maritime regulations (IACS UR E26/E27).
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, anomaly detection).
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific cybersecurity challenges and customer requirements in industrial and critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience building and leading cross-functional pursuit teams.
  • Good understanding of SaaS and PaaS commercial models.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
