Provide expert advice and assistance to customers regarding vehicle performance for New and Pre-Owned coaches in the Plains Region of the US. This role involves setting service priorities, implementing action plans, diagnosing issues, and coordinating repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Set service priorities in the territory.
- Implement action plans for customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose vehicle performance problems and recommend solutions or execute repairs.
- Coordinate vehicle repair activities with outside suppliers.
- Implement and coordinate after-sale service or warranty programs.
- Provide information for company results measurement and risk assessment.
- Organize occasional training or coaching for customer self-sufficiency.
- Balance customer expectations, internal procedures, and departmental priorities.
- Stay updated on technical developments to provide informed customer support.
- Work collaboratively with Coach Sales, Parts Sales, and network locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management (preferred but not required).
- Diploma in automotive mechanics or a related field.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to bend and stoop for long periods.
- Ability to grip, grasp, or twist using hands and wrists regularly.
- Willingness to work shifts of 12 hours or more, if required.
- Ability to reach overhead with 50-pound loads.
- Understand hazardous communication and safety information.
- Ability to travel extensively by car, airplane, and/or motorcoach.
- Ability to drive a car or motorcoach.
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.
