As a Customer Contact for Atlas Copco's Oil Free Air Division, you will manage production work orders and schedules to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and release production work orders in alignment with schedules and manufacturing constraints.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules for seamless workflow and timely delivery.
- Prioritize production orders and coordinate preparation activities with shop-floor personnel.
- Lead cross-functional production planning meetings to assess schedules, identify risks, and manage capacity.
- Maintain accurate production schedules and deliver status updates to internal teams and external customers.
- Manage customer orders in SAP and related planning systems, ensuring accuracy and dependable delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to expedite critical materials and monitor priorities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Inventory Control to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Support product lifecycle management, including phase-ins, phase-outs, and pilot production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in production planning and scheduling, ideally within manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA, is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail and reliability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
