You will be responsible for creating and executing the country's risk and compliance plan, promoting a strong risk culture, and leading crisis management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Country Business Risk & Compliance function.
- Ensure compliance and a risk-aware organization, safeguarding brand, people, and assets.
- Lead, review, support, and secure risk and compliance aspects of businesses and operations.
- Create and execute the Country Business Risk & Compliance plan based on country risks, priorities, and business needs.
- Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mindset, raise risk awareness, and promote a risk culture.
- Identify and act on risks and business opportunities through country-specific insights.
- Provide management with tactical and strategic risk and compliance insights for planning and decision-making.
- Lead Crisis Management work and ensure preparedness throughout the country.
- Lead implementation of standardized and automated ways of working for efficiency and alignment.
- Secure effective implementation of global Business Risk & Compliance frameworks.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Business Risk & Compliance function and a matrix of units’ Safety & Security responsible personnel.
Requirements
- Extensive risk management knowledge and how to assess and mitigate risks in an international business environment.
- Extensive knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, and guidance.
- Proven experience in leading Safety & Security initiatives (people safety, physical security, emergency preparedness, investigations).
- Experience building strong partnerships with relevant authorities and key stakeholders.
- Broad understanding in areas such as Risk Management, Compliance, Security, Data Privacy, Internal Control, and Business Continuity Management (incl. Crisis Management) and how these areas relate to each other.
- Ability to lead and influence senior leaders as well as subject matter experts, exercising both direct and indirect leadership.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty, balance different perspectives, and create clarity and direction when situations are complex and unclear.
- Criminal record check required for final candidates.
