Responsibilities
- Develop the common software platform used by all capability teams.
- Develop common services such as logging, configuration, diagnostics, system monitoring, and software updates.
- Manage packaging, installation, and distribution of software to products.
- Advance the Linux-based platform upon which products are built.
- Ensure the platform is robust, secure, scalable, and easy to evolve.
- Contribute to the development of Linux-based development and production environments.
- Advance automated build, test, and release processes.
- Develop and maintain common development tools and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with capability teams to understand needs and translate them into common platform solutions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience developing Linux-based software systems.
- Experience in Linux and Linux-based product platforms.
- Experience with container technology.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Experience with software architecture and modular systems.
- Experience with configuration and lifecycle management of software.
- Experience with common platform services such as logging, diagnostics, and system monitoring.
- Experience with packaging, installation, and distribution of software.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
- Experience with automated build, test, and release processes.
- Experience with Python and/or C++.

- Experience with distributed systems.
