Ericsson Canada Inc. is seeking a Co-op student for the Common UPC Tools and KPI position in Ottawa. This role involves web 2.0 frontend and backend services development, CI/CD infrastructure, and test automation within a DevOps environment. Responsibilities

  • Web 2.0 frontend and backend services development for DevOps dashboards
  • CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) infrastructure and test automation
  • Work with Kubernetes, pods, edge and far edge containers

Requirements

  • Student on Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering programs
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Familiarity with databases such as ElasticSearch
  • React or Angular full stack web application development
  • Web page authoring with HTML, PHP, CSS
  • Source Code Management systems, eg. Git
  • Available for a 12 - 16 months Co-op
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the Co-op

Desired Qualifications

  • Strive for delivery of product and test code that improves the advantages of a DevOps infrastructure
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Collaborative and outstanding teammate
  • 2.7+ GPA or equivalent
