Responsibilities
- Manage overall responsibility for a portfolio of suppliers and supplier relations
- Ensure and develop supplier delivery performance
- Provide customers and stakeholders with information on expected delivery date (ETA)
- Actively work to avoid customer backorders
- Secure spare parts availability for customers by keeping optimal stock levels
- Ensure inventory level is coherent with stock holding policy
- Optimize transport cost
- Actively participate in finding improvements in the material planning processes
- Explore the network for optimizing deliveries and escalating suppliers in case of deviations
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical mindset
- Action-driven team player and effective networker, comfortable working across functions and cultures in an international environment
- Confident challenging suppliers to meet agreed targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Work confidently with Excel, Office 365, and Power BI
