Responsibilities
- Design sound cloud solutions, explaining trade-offs and helping teams adopt them.
- Operate at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and business enablement, shaping cloud designs.
- Ensure promoted patterns work in practice within a decentralized organization.
- Build rapport, influence through credible arguments, and guide Business Areas and divisions towards shared solutions.
- Contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) by providing direction, governance, expertise, and a secure, scalable platform.
- Design solutions that are secure, scalable, and easy to consume.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing cloud solutions in a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and service models, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on knowledge of landing zones, identity and access management, networking, and platform engineering.
- Familiarity with cloud governance, security, automation, infrastructure as code, FinOps, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines.
- Experience balancing business needs, technical requirements, and operational considerations.
- Experience working with strategic partners and vendors collaboratively and outcome-oriented.
- A natural collaborator who builds rapport, listens well, and influences through credibility and sound reasoning.
- Takes ownership of the whole outcome, from the design itself to the consensus that makes it real.
- Curious, adaptable, and motivated to develop the platform, the teams around you, and your own expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical choices to a business audience.
- Comfortable operating globally in complex enterprise environments with legacy and greenfield solutions, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities.

- Relevant cloud certifications are an advantage, but demonstrated experience matters more.
