MCAPS-Core is seeking a creative and systems-oriented Business Management IC6 leader to drive global strategy and operations. This role will focus on designing and implementing repeatable mechanisms for executive governance, decision capture, and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate customer outcomes and business growth. The position is remote and requires comfort operating in ambiguity and influencing without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operating model for leadership cohorts and executive governance forums, ensuring meetings are outcome-oriented.
  • Translate cohort discussions into documented decisions, actionable next steps, and track follow-through.
  • Utilize AI-enabled analysis of transcripts and feedback to extract key themes, decisions, and commitments.
  • Design and scale persona-based recaps for various stakeholders, providing necessary context and next steps.
  • Create durable systems, standards, and workflows to enable consistent scaling of cohort management.
  • Drive consistent governance for action management, improving transparency and accountability.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure cohort outputs align with broader business rhythms and priorities.
  • Analyze meeting effectiveness and feedback to identify improvements for organizational velocity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance supporting tools and platforms.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values, including a growth mindset and customer obsession.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related business roles.
  • OR equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related business roles.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 15+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or related business roles.
  • OR equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year.
  • Different range applicable to specific work locations in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
  • Potential eligibility for benefits and other compensation.
